It is still possible to get a massage during cancer treatment but I will require a letter from your GP or consultant to confirm it is ok.  A relaxing massage or treatment can be a wonderful way to perk yourself up.

Pregnancy:                                                                                                                                                                                                Please note that massage treatments will not be carried out during the first trimester.  After this time, massage treatments will be offered and altered accordingly.  If you are worried please speak to your GP or Midwife before booking.

Age restrictions:                                                                                                                                                                                                There is no upper age limit for any of my treatments, as each one is catered to you and is  adapted as necessary.  There is, however, a lower age limit which differs between treatments.   Sports massage  and holistic massage is suitable for all ages and will be adapted as necessary.  Body wraps and hot stone massage will not be carried out on any one under the age of 18 due to  their affects on the lymphatic system.  Facials are    available for anyone 12 and over and are adapted to suit young skin.  See the Teen Treatments for more information.  Please note, anyone under the age of 16 must have a parent or guardian present during the  entire treatment.

Dress:                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Each treatment is slightly different, but generally the following applies to each:  Foot treatments will involve removing your trousers or at least rolling them up to the thigh, please wear suitable trousers to allow for this. For hand treatments wear a vest style top or sleeves which can be rolled up to above the elbow. Full body treatments require just underwear/swim-wear.  Specific area treatments require removal of   clothing in that area only.
